Sam is data journalist at Global Witness. His work focuses on using leaked and public data to investigate corruption and environmental abuses. He studied Philosophy as an undergraduate at Cambridge and has a Masters in the History of Political Thought from Queen Mary University of London.
Recent projects he worked on include a large-scale analysis of the world’s first register of company ownership, an investigation into money laundering at the Trump Ocean Club, Panama and an analysis of the corruption risk posed by anonymously owned homes in London.
